Every time I find a drop of hope,
I find you, soaking up the residue,
Why do you want to hurt me?
My heart is void, I can’t fix what you destroyed.
Maybe I am wrong again,
Do I mistake your effort?
Maybe you want to save me,
From the everlasting hurt.
Is the drop of hope I found poison?
You lap it up, from the deepest cup,
Do you want to see me smile?
You stay on my side when you want to hide.
I don’t know what to think,
Is there guilt written on your face?
Or is it a sign of your affection,
Trying to help me put my life in place.
I wish the answers were clear,
And that I could Peer into the future that is near.
But the future is beyond me,
I can’t see, what has yet to be.

won't you miss me?
Wouldn't you miss me at all?
